Meet Levan Tabukashvili
A passionate opera singer sharing his journey through music and performance.


Biography
Levan Tabukashvili is a Georgian operatic Bass-baritone and a resident soloist of the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre. He is frequently recognized for his dramatic insight, textual clarity, and compelling characterisation on stage.
Born and raised in Georgia, Levan studied music at an early age before continuing his education at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire. He graduated in 2020 with a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance. During his studies, he performed in many opera productions and concerts, most notably as Figaro in Le Nozze Di Figaro in 2017.
Levan made his debut at the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre in 2019, singing Samuel in Un Ballo in Maschera. Since then he has performed a range of diverse repertoire, including Abimelech (Samson et Dalila), Fra Melitone (La Forza Del destino), Schaunard (La Boheme), Bonzo (Madame Butterfly) and most recently Bustamente in Le Navarraise in 2025.
Currently, Levan is dedicated to expanding his international career, with a strong focus on Germany and the wider European opera scene, working with prestigious coaches such as John Fisher and Roberto Scandiuzzi, while also preparing for future engagements. Most notably, he will make his role debut as Leporello in Don Giovanni at the Tbilisi State Opera in Spring 2026.
